My Story

From Surviving
to Becoming.

This isn't a highlight reel. This is the real story of how discipline, consistency, and a refusal to settle transformed my body, my mind, and my purpose.

Where It Started

The Weight I Carried
Wasn't Just Physical.

Over a decade in law enforcement takes a toll that most people never see. The long shifts, the hypervigilance, the weight of carrying other people's worst days — it all accumulates. For me, it showed up in my body.

I was eating to cope. Training inconsistently. Telling myself I'd "get back on track" every Monday. Sound familiar? I was the guy who knew what to do but couldn't make it stick. The stress of the job, the demands of life — they always won.

What I didn't realize at the time was that my approach was broken, not my willpower. I was chasing motivation instead of building discipline. I was following programs designed for people whose lives looked nothing like mine.

The Shift

I Stopped Looking for
the Perfect Plan.

The turning point wasn't dramatic. There was no rock-bottom moment or sudden epiphany. It was quieter than that. I just got tired — tired of the cycle, tired of the excuses, tired of looking in the mirror and not recognizing the person staring back.

I stopped searching for the "best" workout program. I stopped waiting for the perfect time to start. Instead, I committed to showing up — imperfectly, consistently, and without negotiation. I built a system around my actual life: the shift work, the stress, the unpredictable schedule.

"I realized that discipline isn't about being hard on yourself. It's about being honest with yourself — and then doing the work anyway."

I studied nutrition not from fad diet books, but from the science. I learned how to train for my body, my goals, and my reality — not someone else's Instagram highlight reel. I addressed the mental side: the stress eating, the all-or-nothing thinking, the belief that I had to suffer to see results.

Slowly, then all at once, things changed. Not just my body — my energy, my confidence, my relationship with food, my ability to handle the pressure of the job without falling apart. Fitness became my anchor, not my punishment.

The Result

Not Just a New Body.
A New Way of Living.

The transformation you see in these photos didn't happen in 30 days. It didn't come from a magic supplement or a trendy diet. It came from months of showing up — even when I didn't feel like it. Especially when I didn't feel like it.

What changed wasn't just my physique. It was my entire relationship with discipline. I stopped seeing fitness as something I had to force and started seeing it as something I got to build. The gym became my meditation. Nutrition became my fuel, not my enemy. And the mental clarity that followed changed every other area of my life.

That's when I knew this was bigger than me. The system I built for myself — the integration of training, nutrition, and mindset — could help other people who were stuck in the same cycle I'd been in.

The Mission

Why I Coach
What I Wish I Had.

I became a coach because I know what it's like to feel stuck. To know you're capable of more but not know how to get there. To be surrounded by information but starving for guidance.

When I was going through my own transformation, I didn't have a coach. I didn't have someone who understood the demands of a high-stress career, the mental battles, or the unique challenges of building discipline when your life feels chaotic. I had to figure it all out myself — through trial, error, and a lot of wasted time.

That's exactly why Become Fitness exists. I built the coaching experience I wish I'd had. One that doesn't just hand you a workout plan and wish you luck. One that meets you where you are, understands your life, and walks with you through the process of real, lasting change.
